Ms. Ashkinadze graduated magna cum laude in 2003 from the University of California, Los Angeles with a Bachelor’s degree in English and a minor in Russian Language and Literature. She then attended Pepperdine University School of Law, graduating cum laude in 2007. Prior to graduating from Pepperdine, Ms. Ashkinadze served as an extern to the Honorable Terry J. Hatter, Jr., Senior United States District Judge, where she received rigorous training to legal writing and research, and the rules of civil procedure. As a judicial extern, Ms. Ashkinadze gained insight into the standards and expectations of the courts.
Following her graduation, Ms. Ashkinadze was a research assistant to Kenneth W. Starr, Dean of Pepperdine University School of Law. Under Dean Starr’s guidance, she learned how to draft effective appellate briefs and trial memoranda, as well as how to present successful oral argument.
Ms. Ashkinadze practices in the area of general civil litigation and appellate law. She is an active member of State Bar of California and is admitted to practice before the Central District of California.
