After practicing law for several years in Texas , Mr. Catmull moved to California where he was admitted to the California Bar in 2000.  At Marcin Lambirth, his principal focus is  general and business litigation,  banking and lender liability, appeals relating to real property law,   and bankruptcy.  He is particularly experienced in prosecuting commercial fraud, including fraudulent conveyances under the Uniform Fraudulent Transfer Act.  Mr. Catmull has  extensive jury and bench trial experience. 

Mr. Catmull graduated with a B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin in 1983, and was awarded a Juris Doctor from Whittier College School of Law in 1994.  He is admitted to practice in Texas and California, and as well as the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States District Courts for the Northern, Central, Eastern, and Southern Districts of California , and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas . 

He has co-authored numerous articles for the California State Bar publication of the solo and small practice section, "Big News" on a variety of legal topics, including developments in Anti-SLAPP litigation ("Strategic Lawsuits Against Public Participation"), emerging developments in the area of punitive damages defense in commercial  litigation, and First Amendment protections under the litigation privilege and other speech-related rights.  In 2004, Mr. Catmull received the Whittier Law School "Business Award".  He is also a member of the Federalist Society for Law and Public Policy Studies, and the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
